Amy's Blogtown USA

Eliot seems to be comfy here...

Here he is giving his daddy a hug... well, his daddy's leg, anyway.
Since I've been showing off all the "new additions" to the "family" (see pics below), I thought I might also show off the little babies that I've been working on for a couple weeks now: they're just starting to bust out of their seeds and say hello to the world! (The peppers and large tomato plants to the right, and the cilantro, I bought already sprouted -- the pineapples I'm growing from the tops of pineapples we got from the store and ate and then planted the tops. Everything else is from seed.)

from left to right: Pineapple, Onion, Cilantro, Mixed Flowers, Heirloom Tomatoes (in the egg crate), Grape Tomatoes, Red Yellow and Green Bell Peppers (2 of each color), Jalapeno Peppers, and Thai Dragon Peppers.

Eliot chillin' on the bed with his new daddy!

Eliot with his first toy from his new mommy and daddy! A little fur-mousy toy!

Our "new" camper shell
Yeah, it's ugly. But it was free. And we had to put Brian's daughter in SOMETHING if we were going to drive her all the way out to Yosemite.
The inside is wood-paneled, like someone's den -- from the 70's. I think it'll clean up alright, but pretty, um, "retro" is the most generous word for it.
As an antidote to this un-cuteness, please see the post below!

Eliot
This is the newest member of our family: His name is Eliot, and he's a very sweet, very talkative boy. He's already three and a half years old, but he's still pretty frisky. I'm not sure what breed he is (his previous owner called him half siamese half tonkinese, but who can be sure?), but I'm fairly certain he's at least part siamese, less because of his markings and more because he's so talky. More cutie-pie pics of Eliot to come!
