Waterfalls are not just cool, they're COLD!
Our Second Trip To Allamere Falls
was even better than the first... we went swimming in this gorgeous mountain-top lake with clear, clean water and no fish or snakes, and it was, if I may say, swimming heaven. I'm planning to go back the next sunny day. We also went all the way down to the beach falls at Allamere, which we didn't do last time, and this time, since our trip was longer, we came back longer, and got to hike through the fog.... there is NOTHING creepier than walking a cliff trail in the fog, HEARING the ocean crashing below, but not being able to SEE it at all! On the drive home, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, and it looked like it was being held up by strings from heaven -- you couldn't see even halfway to the top! I should've taken more pics, but here are a few I took below!
